Pedro Jiménez

About Me

Pedro Jiménez holds a degree in Fine Arts from the Faculty of Fine Arts at UPV. He has a PhD in Art: Production and Research, with a thesis titled "Impact of Technological Advances on the Way of Representing Infographics in Spanish Media/Press"; He obtained the Professional Specialist Master in Creative Design (2007).

He has been a professional infographic designer since 2004 when he started working at El Mundo continuously for 16 years. Currently, since 2023, he works as coordinator of the Infographics and Digital Narratives team at RTVE.es.

He has also worked for magazines such as National Geographic, Muy Historia (Muy Interesante), or Jot Down Kids. As well as for various clients and companies like The New York Times Magazine, The Wall Street Journal Magazine (China), Vocento, Marca, El Español, Valencia Plaza, the Diputación de València, and different national and international clients.

He has received various international recognitions from the Society for News Design (SND), Malofiej, ÑH, and Ortega y Gasset in categories of Infographics and Data Visualization. Since 2017, he has been an associate professor in the Drawing Department of the Faculty of Fine Arts at UPV
