One of Valencia's most emblematic buildings deserved a piece to match: a double page and digital adaptation on the evolution, history and unique features of the Palau de la Generalitat.

I illustrated the building's architectural evolution across its different historical stages, highlighting the Gothic elements that make it unique among Valencia's civil buildings.

The institution's own name dates back to 1418, when the Valencian Courts created a delegated commission to manage a new tax called 'generalitats' -- the origin of today's Generalitat Valenciana.
