Christmas Dinner
Based on a market visit, we review the price evolution of the main foods consumed during Christmas. Christmas dinner, getting more expensive each year.
Every Christmas, RTVE reviews how much the price of the typical dinner has gone up. In 2023 we wanted to tell it differently: instead of a plain list of prices, the piece opens with an illustrated visit to a market, so the reader discovers each product -- and its price -- as if walking between the stalls.
The idea, and the sense of immersion it gives the reader, of stepping into the market and discovering each element along the way.
Taking the story into this immersive format was my idea; I handled the creative direction, design, illustrations and team coordination for the main animated visualization, creating the key pieces of the project myself.
