Sánchez's Investiture Debate
Data graphic synthesizing Pedro Sánchez's entire 2023 investiture debate and analyzing the time spent by each political party on the concept of 'amnesty' as well as their main defended ideas.
The 2023 investiture debate revolved almost entirely around one word: amnesty. RTVE wanted a data graphic able to condense hours of parliamentary speeches into something readable in minutes, showing how much time each party spent on the concept and which ideas they defended.
Analyzing, through the concept of 'amnesty', the time each political party spent on it and the main ideas they defended during the debate.
I processed and structured the debate data so it could be represented graphically by party and by time -- an exercise as journalistic as it was visual.
